Iti pi so Bhagavā Arahaṁ Sammāsambuddho,Such is he, the Fortunate One, the Worthy One, the Perfect Sambuddha,

vijjācaraṇasampanno Sugato lokavidÅ«,the one endowed with understanding and good conduct, the Happy One, the one who understands the worlds,

anuttaro purisadammasārathī,the unsurpassed guide for those people who need taming,

Satthā devamanussānaṁ Buddho Bhagavā ti.the Teacher of gods and men, the Buddha, the Fortunate One.

Svākkhāto Bhagavatā Dhammo, sandiṭṭhiko, akāliko,The Dhamma has been well-proclaimed by the Fortunate One, it is visible, not subject to time,

ehipassiko, opanayiko, paccattaṁ veditabbo viññūhī ti.inviting inspection, onward leading, and can be understood by the wise for themselves.

Supaį¹­ipanno Bhagavato sāvakasaį¹…gho,The Fortunate One’s Saį¹…gha of disciples are good in their practice,

ujupaį¹­ipanno Bhagavato sāvakasaį¹…gho,the Fortunate One’s Saį¹…gha of disciples are upright in their practice,

Ʊāyapaį¹­ipanno Bhagavato sāvakasaį¹…gho,the Fortunate One’s Saį¹…gha of disciples are systematic in their practice,

sāmÄ«cipaį¹­ipanno Bhagavato sāvakasaį¹…gho,the Fortunate One’s Saį¹…gha of disciples are correct in their practice,

yad-idaṁ cattāri purisayugāni aṭṭha purisapuggalā,that is to say, the four pairs of persons, the eight individual persons,

esa Bhagavato sāvakasaį¹…gho,this is the Fortunate One’s Saį¹…gha of disciples,

āhuneyyo, pāhuneyyo, dakkhiṇeyyo, aƱjalikaranÄ«yo,they are worthy of offerings, of hospitality, of gifts, and of reverential salutation,

anuttaraṁ puññakkhettaṁ lokassā ti.they are an unsurpassed field of merit for the world.

Verse of Blessing

Etena saccavajjena pātu tvaṁ ratanattayaṁ!By this declaration of the truth may the three treasures appear to you!
