Abhinandasutta Taking Pleasure

āYo, bhikkhave, pathavÄ«dhÄtuį¹ abhinandati, dukkhaį¹ so abhinandati. āMendicants, if you take pleasure in the earth element, you take pleasure in suffering.
Yo dukkhaį¹ abhinandati, āaparimutto so dukkhasmÄāti vadÄmi. If you take pleasure in suffering, youāre not free from suffering, I say.
Yo ÄpodhÄtuį¹ abhinandati ā¦peā¦ If you take pleasure in the water element ā¦
yo tejodhÄtuį¹ ā¦ If you take pleasure in the fire element ā¦
yo vÄyodhÄtuį¹ abhinandati, dukkhaį¹ so abhinandati. If you take pleasure in the air element, you take pleasure in suffering.
