“Hitvā satapalaṁ kaṁsaṁ, Giving up a hundred ounces of bronze, According to Olivelle (King, Governance, and Law in Ancient India), a pala is approximately 37.76 gm, roughly an ounce.
Sovaṇṇaṁ satarājikaṁ; and a hundred grains of gold, The rājika is the weight of a mustard seed, somewhat parallel to the “grain” in the Imperial system.
Aggahiṁ mattikāpattaṁ, I took a bowl made of clay:
