Lomasakaṅgiyattheragāthā Lomasakaṅgiya
“Dabbaṁ kusaṁ poṭakilaṁ, With my chest I’ll thrust aside The grasses mentioned are dabba, kusa, poṭakila (kans grass, wild sugarcane), usīra (vetiver), muñja (sugarcane bamboo grass), and pabbaja (here unlikely to be Eleusine indica per usual identification, because it is too short. Perhaps meadow foxtail (Alopecurus pratensis). Thag 3.5 gives a little more context.
usīraṁ muñjapabbajaṁ; the grasses, vines, canes,
Urasā panudissāmi, the vetiver, rushes and reeds,
vivekamanubrūhayan”ti. and foster seclusion.
