Dhammassavanasutta Listening to the Teaching
āPaƱcime, bhikkhave, Änisaį¹sÄ dhammassavane. āMendicants, there are these five benefits of listening to the teaching.

Assutaį¹ suį¹Äti, sutaį¹ pariyodÄpeti, kaį¹
khaį¹ vitarati, diį¹į¹hiį¹ ujuį¹ karoti, cittamassa pasÄ«dati. You learn new things, clarify what youāve learned, get over uncertainty, correct your views, and inspire confidence in your mind.
Ime kho, bhikkhave, paƱca Änisaį¹sÄ dhammassavaneāti. These are the five benefits of listening to the teaching.ā
