Caį¹…kamasutta Walking Meditation

ā€œPaƱcime, bhikkhave, caį¹…kame ānisaṁsā. ā€œMendicants, there are five benefits of walking meditation.

Katame paƱca? What five?

Addhānakkhamo hoti, padhānakkhamo hoti, appābādho hoti, asitaṁ pÄ«taṁ khāyitaṁ sāyitaṁ sammā pariṇāmaṁ gacchati, caį¹…kamādhigato samādhi ciraį¹­į¹­hitiko hoti. You get fit for traveling, fit for striving in meditation, and healthy. What’s eaten, drunk, chewed, and tasted is properly digested. And immersion gained while walking lasts long.

Ime kho, bhikkhave, paƱca caį¹…kame ānisaṁsÄā€ti. These are the five benefits of walking meditation.ā€
