ā€œYe te, bhikkhave, bhikkhÅ« anāpattiṁ āpattÄ«ti dÄ«penti te, bhikkhave, bhikkhÅ« bahujanaahitāya paį¹­ipannā bahujanaasukhāya, bahuno janassa anatthāya ahitāya dukkhāya devamanussānaṁ. ā€œMendicants, those mendicants who explain a non-offense as an offense are acting for the detriment and unhappiness of the people, against the people, for the harm, detriment, and suffering of gods and humans.

BahuƱca te, bhikkhave, bhikkhÅ« apuƱƱaṁ pasavanti, te cimaṁ saddhammaṁ antaradhāpentÄ«ā€ti. They brim with much wickedness and make the true teaching disappear.ā€
