ā€œYe te, bhikkhave, bhikkhÅ« adhammaṁ adhammoti dÄ«penti te, bhikkhave, bhikkhÅ« bahujanahitāya paį¹­ipannā bahujanasukhāya, bahuno janassa atthāya hitāya sukhāya devamanussānaṁ. ā€œMonks, any monks who explain not-Dhamma as not-Dhamma are practicing for the welfare of many people, for the happiness of many people, for the benefit of many people, for the welfare & happiness of human beings & devas. ā€œMendicants, those mendicants who explain what is not the teaching as not the teaching are acting for the welfare and happiness of the people, for the people, for the benefit, welfare, and happiness of gods and humans.

BahuƱca te, bhikkhave, bhikkhÅ« puƱƱaṁ pasavanti, te cimaṁ saddhammaṁ į¹­hapentÄ«ā€ti. They amass much merit and help this True Dhamma to remain.ā€ They brim with much merit and make the true teaching continue.ā€

Paṭhamaṁ.

te, bhikkhave, bhikkhū bahujanahitāya paṭipannā bahujanasukhāya, bahuno janassa atthāya hitāya sukhāya devamanussānaṁ. are acting for the welfare and happiness of the people, for the people, for the benefit, welfare, and happiness of gods and humans.

BahuƱca te, bhikkhave, bhikkhÅ« puƱƱaṁ pasavanti, te cimaṁ saddhammaṁ į¹­hapentÄ«ā€ti. They brim with much merit and make the true teaching continue.ā€
